Non-medical needs
Guide to Non-Medical NeedsCHF has produced a guide to help parents of heart children access the non-medical support they and their children need. Parents may face a number of challenges and setbacks along the way and will need to be prepared for this. They may need to be assertive and persevere for what their child should be entitled to. We advise them to talk to different professionals and organisations so that they get a good understanding of what services are available and how to access them. A Questionnaire for GUCH's (Grown Up Congenital Heart Patients) Children's Heart Federation would like to ask all teenagers and adults with congenital heart disease to participate is a small questionnaire. We would like to gather the experiences, good and bad, of as many teenagers and adults with CHD as possible in order to add to our Overcoming the Obstacles resource. If you are willing to share your experiences with us we would be very grateful if you would fill in the questionnaire. It is not necessary to fill in the entire questionnaire, just those parts that you are able to comment on. Click here to download the GUCH questionnaire . |
