In Memory of Mary
Susan Rumens set up a memorial fund for her mother Elizabeth Bamblett. Contributions can be made to this fund by emailing our fundraising team or telephoning our office on 020 7422 0630.
Elizabeth had a heart child called Mary who sadly died aged 4 months in 1953.
Susan found her mother’s journal of the time Mary passed away. She has transcribed some of the entries and sent them to us. This is a sad, touching story and we are very grateful to Susan for sharing this with the Children’s Heart Federation.
