|
You've found the 2010 Bring A Bear page! We're hoping to build on the success of last year's furry fundraising with our 2011 campaign of Bring A Bear Days. Visit our Bring A Bear 2011 HQ to find out how you can join in the fun! During Children's Heart Week 2010 everyone was encouraged to "Bring a Bear" to work or school. This campaign raised plenty of awareness and a great deal of money for the UK's leading children's heart charity. If you are looking for a fun, inexpensive way to support children with heart conditions why not participate in your own Bring a Bear to Work/School Day!Teddy Bears are ever so popular as warm fuzzy bearers of love and security. Bring a Bear to Work/School Day celebrates their purpose of spreading love, comfort and good cheer and will help to raise awareness of the Children's Heart Federation. Ideas: 1. Agree a Bring a Bear date with your bosses, work colleagues or teachers. 2. Print out some of our Bring a Bear Day posters. You can download either A4 or A3 sized posters for your school or workplace 3. Take your bear to school/work and put it on your desk. Print a copy of our certificate to explain why your bear is at work. 4. Arrange to have lunch with as many people as possible work colleagues, friends or family. Have a picnic if the weather is good, sandwiches around your desk, lunch in the canteen or even visit a local restaurant. 5. Ask everyone to make donation to the Children’s Heart Federation (minimum £1) for the privilege of bringing a bear to work. You might need one person to collect and send the money. 6. Take photographs of you with your bear at school/work and send them into us. We may even award a prize to the organisation or school which gets the most bears and owners together. There could also be a prize for the funkiest and most unique bear at school/work image. 7. Send this information to everyone you know. Children and Adults can make a difference to the life of a heart child by taking part in this fun event. |
