Employee fundraising

Raising money for a good cause is an ideal way of building team spirit and promoting your business.

Great for company morale, employee fundraising is engaging, motivating, fun and encourages team-work within your company. If you're looking for some inspiration in the office, here are a few ideas to start you off:

• Matched funding - some employers will match your fundraising pound for pound. Ask your employer about this.
• Dress down day - everyone pays £2 to come in casual dress or you could have a theme like green day where everyone has to wear something green.
• Cake sale - bake cakes and charge people at work for a slice.
• Sponsored head-shave - if you fancy something a bit more daring, why not get your office to sponsor you to do a head/moustache/beard shave or a leg/chest wax?!
