| We are the families and friends of children with congenital heart disorders. Formerly the Association for Children with Heart Disorders, the Children's Heart Association was formed in 1973 and registered as a charity in 1974. The Children's Heart Association has four main aims: - To give support and understanding to parents and families.
- To improve facilities for children at heart units.
- To maintain standards of improvement as new techniques develop.
- To raise funds to help purchase specialised equipment.
